What Is The Need For This Bus-Based Therapy Program?

The impetus to get our therapy on a bus is simple – cognitive mentoring can only be provided by a cognitive thinker. The more people exposed to our therapeutic method, the more lives the therapy will permanently change for the better. Having this service on a bus platform will allow for flexibility, surgical application within communities and urban areas as well as rural ones, without the cost of organizing and promoting central workshops or seminars that many people might not attend. With the bus we will be able to impact youth at play, outside their homes, entire families, as well as, community leaders and civic groups.  The need for therapeutic mentoring is rampant in today’s society. 

Our culture is full of problems that pervade the structures of civilization and have infected the family unit, thereby, infecting the individual. The family unit is the most important group to every human being. It is the first group that each human is a member of by birth.  To the degree that this group provides the structure necessary for proper human development and that of the four elements previously discussed, will be the quality of individual that emerges into the world. The higher the quality of the individual the more the chance that he or she will be successful and stable. Stability is a manifestation of right thinking. We exist and thrive on stability - it is the basic state of the world we live in. The reality is that most children do not receive the proper education at home - instruction. This then causes them to seek it outside in society, and this in turn causes problems at home - the child is compromised. The individual learns a duality and hypocrisy in life and this allows for room to hide or cover those things that do not conform to the haphazard structure that is only hinted at in the home, but was certainly not constructed within the individual.

The result are families suffering from infidelity, one parent homes, incest, prostitution, low self-esteem, poverty, alcoholism, drug addiction, misery and depression, homosexuality, and other disorders. The people are suffering not knowing what to do and how to solve their problems. And at the same time, within the same state of disorder and dismay, they are raising children - these children learning all the patterns that will be their fate for the rest of their lives. The nation is so affected by this situation that many regions and even nations suffer from mass psychosomatic phenomenon such as mass depression, mass lethargy, mass ignorance, mass moral depravity or degradation of morality as a society - things that we are seeing around us every day.

We see or children suffering from lack of education and they say that they cannot learn faster or deeper, but in reality the mass psychological problems present are causing a mistaken perception and an erroneous application of remedies that only compound upon false premises. Society is still sick because the proper medicine has not been applied - simply all the current knowledge about social remedies have not been able to help the people break free from the social problems we still face as if from day one. 

When our method is applied to a home, it will help steer that family away from their propensity of error into proper actions and education for their children. This will impact the future generation to be less problematic and demonstrative of the current symptomatic conditions we see today. As subsequently each generation will be better trained and raised and produce individuals of better and higher qualities and therefore the society and the nation will be improved and cultural and societal problems will be almost extinguished. This is a dream, but only because the problems of our society create individuals that will not have the sense to seek help or to admit that they need help. We will never be able to reach these retrograde minds. But we seek those families and minds that truly want to prosper, to better themselves and to provide a better future for their children.

The other reason is that academia and its illegitimate child – professionals, will not allow this ideology to enter into the guarded halls of their professionalism. To wit, the proposed therapy and its logical conclusions is the total eradication of the ills that are the bread and butter of these social and psychological professionals. If the psychological professional only had the seriously mentally ill to treat, there would not be enough work to keep the profession from fading away as the blacksmith of long ago. Indeed, they would be out of work because they do not treat the seriously ill but ship them away into interned hospital settings where they are medicated and tended after. This doesn’t speak highly of the profession but it is their own doing.

The work of psychotherapy was exclusive to the church until Freud came along and secularized it. And since then the line of demarcation has been manipulated and man handled away from the church by the states in order for the political and governmental authority to maintain control over the populace by keeping educational (training) and psychological interventions (corrective education) in the hands of the government. But the origin and the divine charge for these things was and shall always be in the domain of the church. And since the secular world has abandoned the divine prescriptive mandate and basis for their ill-gained bounty, the church has the responsibility and the divine authority to repossess its inheritance and patrimony in order to serve mankind efficiently - to minister healing to the masses and salvation to the individual.

Cognitive mentoring therapy is that effort. Not in the political realm but in the realm of the social context and the free marketplace of ideas within which the therapy shall thrive and shall reverse the mishap of centuries ago and restructure culture and society through its healing and cognitive benefit.
